About Fay

When I was furloughed, the pace and direction of my life halted. I was up against a new landscape of frustrations, fears and at the same time, a void that needed to be filled by creativity. I knew I wasn't alone in this experience, and wanted to learn how other creatives were adapting to the various changes in their industries, and in their lives.

My hope is that by sharing these stories, it will bring a sense of comfort and community to get us through this, and to showcase what people are capable of in a time of scarcity.

A little more about me: I was born and raised in Brooklyn, and have been modeling, styling and designing clothing, costumes and adornments since I was a teenager.

About Hideaway

Hideaway is a humanizing portrait of COVID19’s effect on creatives, and a gathering of their collective experiences. This site grew out of the need for connection during the Pandemic.

By the sharing these stories, I hope to showcase the work being made during isolation and bring a better understanding of our lives during COVID-19, as we adjust to our "New Normal."

If you or someone you know has a story to tell, please get in touch!
